“A Clockwork Orange” is an iconic walk down the eccentric and psychedelic mindset that the changing times from 1969 till 1971 instilled within me and thus gave birth to “Shakie”.
The Shakie years were bad with some good. Psychedelics and opiates became guns and dynamite.
Freedoms became prisons.
Shake became a dredge of your society. “Fear and Loathing in Canada” would properly title the movie he called life.
Prison was good for Shakie There he finally met Dann. Dann kept Shakie calm.
Dann got deported to Ontario upon release. Banished from his homeland of New Brunswick till this very day.
Dann finally found his mother. Mary. Dann grew to love Mary.
Mary was happy when Dann married Michelle. Michelle left Dann when Mother Mary was murdered.
Dann learned of ironic karma. Karma Shake deserved.
Dann and Shake were an aged twenty four long years. Shake took over for Dann, while Dann slid down skid row highway once again.
To shorten this tale may it be said that Shake and Dann eventually found the love of a family .
The family did not find love. Dann and his sons have love.
Thirty five years later, seven deaths and resurrections, seven lifetimes of learning, they met “LightHouse”.
The rest is HIS story.
(This is a basic, very minute, bite of my book “Diary of a MadDann”.)
